Specifically designed for making emergency exits and vulnerable glass entrance doors secure. Unique and innovative in its design, it allows occupants to unlock the grille from inside the premises. This is done by rotating a thumb-turn lock. As it is keyless in operation it ensures a quick and safe exit from the premises in emergency and at all other times, whilst still providing a highly effective deterrent to potential intruders.

Unlike traditional retractable security grilles the Double Diamond Emergency Exit Saftidor is trackless and hinges aside as standard. This allows each sash to turn through up to 180 degrees, enabling unrestricted access to be retained, if required. Access is restricted on the attack side of the grille as it retains a key operated lock. Additionally, the diamond lattice design of the grille combined with a shielding plate stops intruders from being able to reach through the lattices in order to unlock the grille.

Tubular Steel lattice constructed and powder coated in white as standard, provides a professional appearance and offers a good level of durability. The Double Diamond Emergency Exit Saftidor is ideal for shops and retail premises, as it provides a highly effective barrier against smash and grab raids. If the grille is to be fitted in a non emergency exit setting, an optional lock pack can be installed.

If required, the Double Diamond can be fitted to any light commercial vehicle.

Sizes Available

The Double Diamond Emergency Exit Saftidor is available in three standard widths 1010mm, 1010mm and 1650mm and one height of 2000mm. If required these stock sizes can be cut down in height as an optional extra (minimum height available after cut down is 1620mm).
