Our Rhino RTR5 commercial telescopic security post provides a cost effective yet secure method of protecting business premises and parked vehicles. Ideal for many commercial settings where a high level of security is not required but a moderate level of security is acceptable. The RTR5 security post offers excellent protection for car parks, driveways and commercial entrances.

Attractive in appearance and featuring a round shape, with a 90mm diameter. The RTR5 comes galvanised as standard and if required can be powder coated in a wide range of colours, please ask us for details. It locks securely in place with a 670mm height above ground. Fully retractable and with a stainless steel lifting handle, the post can be lifted out or lowered into the ground quickly and easily. The integral high security 10 pin push button lock ensures when upright the post locks firmly in place. When required the post can be easily slid into its host tube below the ground and its steel flap closed flush, making it exceptionally discreet. A coordinating static post to the RTR5 is also available.

We are also able to offer the RTR5 in a stainless steel option. Our RT SS5 is manufactured from a selected grade of 316L (1.4401) stainless steel and is ideal for commercial usage and where a contemporary security solution is required. The RT SS5 rises to 710mm above ground and has a 101mm diameter. It comes with a brushed satin finish and a 2mm thick outer. A high strength internal post sleeve which is manufactured from 90mm x 5mm steel offers additional reinforcement and increased performance. If required a coordinating stainless steel static post is also available. With the RT SS5 comes the option of an internal lift assist mechanism, this significantly reduces the operating weight and aids manual handling.

In accordance with the British standard for specifications and test methods for steel products, the RTR5 commercial telescopic security post is manufactured from mild steel to BS 1440 and is also galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 (1999), this provides an increased level of resistance to rust and corrosion and therefore minimises maintenance costs. Our range of Rhino telescopic security posts are manufactured using an automated robot welding system, this provides greater precision and accuracy. Posts are checked at each stage of the manufacturing process to ensure they are of the highest quality.

For high risk commercial settings our Rhino RTR8 security post which is a reinforced anti-ram version of the RTR5 security post, is ideal.

Height Available

The Rhino RTR5 commercial telescopic security post has a height of 670mm above ground and 950mm height below ground.

Banding Options

Our telescopic security posts are available with a choice of three standard banding options. Bands are available in three standard colours, amber, red and white. Other colour options are available, please ask us for details.

• Single Band: a single recessed 100mm band which is supplied with a Class 2 reflective tape and is available in one or two colours
• Double Band: two recessed bands which are supplied with a Class 2 reflective tape
• Hazard Banding Strip: offers increased visibility and safety

Other Options Available

• Master Key Facilities - locks can be keyed alike or to differ
• Ornamental Locking Top – enhances the appearance of your post by providing a traditional finish to its top, whilst also offering the addition of a second locking mechanism for added security
