Our Rhino RT RD4 telescopic security post is attractive in appearance and features a round shape, with a 76mm diameter. It comes galvanised as standard which provides resistance from corrosion. Powder coating is available as an optional extra, please ask us for details.

The post locks securely in place with a 500mm height above ground. Fully retractable and with a stainless steel lifting handle, the post can be lifted out or lowered into the ground quickly and easily. The integral high security 10 pin push button lock ensures when upright the post locks firmly in place. When required, the post can be easily slid into its host tube below the ground and its steel flap closed flush, making it exceptionally discreet. A coordinating static post to the RT RD4 is also available.

We are also able to offer the RT RD4 in a stainless steel option. Our RT RD4 SS is manufactured from a selected grade of 316L (1.4401) stainless steel and is ideal for home owners who require a contemporary yet durable security solution. This option is remarkably strong and requires little maintenance. If required a coordinating stainless steel static post is also available.

In accordance with the British standard for specifications and test methods for steel products, the RT RD4 telescopic security post is manufactured from mild steel to BS 1440 and is also galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 (1999), this provides an increased level of resistance to rust and corrosion and therefore minimises maintenance costs. Our range of Rhino telescopic security posts are manufactured using an automated robot welding system, this provides greater precision and accuracy. Security posts are checked at each stage of the manufacturing process to ensure they are of the highest quality.
